In a world where age often defines what’s possible, Dr. Kwaku Boakye Gyamfi is rewriting the script—one life-saving moment at a time. At just 22 years old, he etched his name in Ghana’s history books as the youngest-ever medical doctor, a remarkable feat that continues to inspire youth across the continent and beyond.
A Star from the Start
Born in April 2001 in Accra, Dr. Kwaku Boakye Gyamfi’s brilliance shone early. He began formal education at age five, quickly progressing through top schools including Danem Royal Montessori, Good Shepherd International, and Startrite Montessori. By 2014, he had already completed basic education—at only 13 years old—with an impressive aggregate score of 06.
Later that year, he entered the esteemed Prempeh College for high school. With unmatched focus and academic excellence, he graduated in 2017 at the age of 16 with an aggregate score of 07, ready for medical school.

That same year, Dr. Kwaku Boakye Gyamfi was admitted into the University of Cape Coast School of Medical Sciences (UCC). Over the next six years, he dedicated himself to an intensive and challenging medical curriculum.
