- 1 tsp salt
- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger
- 4 cloves
- 4 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 small onion minced
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 green bell peppers finely chopped
- pinch of paprika
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp dried thyme leaves
- ¾ tsp grains of paradise ground to a powder
- 1 tsp minced African bird peppers
- 1 tbsp dried shrimp
- ½ cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1 sprig parsley
