Ingredients
For the Puff Puff Batter:
- 2 cup Bob’s Red Mill 1-to-1 Gluten-Free Baking Flour
- 1 cup Cacao Powder
- 1 1/2 cup Coconut Sugar
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/8 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
- 1/2 cup Full Fat Coconut Milk
- 1 1/2 cup Filtered Water
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
For Cooking and Serving:
- Oil for Deep Frying (Salimatu recommends Sunflower)
- 2 tbsp Coconut Sugar
- 3 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1/4 cup Shredded Coconut, toasted
