The African Fashion Couture “Lupita Nyong’o”
At the drop of a hat, it can be said that Lupita Nyong’o looks elegant and scantlings in every picture of her we see. The Kenyan Mexican actress has starred in many movies and Black Panther is her latest feat. At the promotions of The Black Panther, she showcased her different styles and looked enchanting.
At the SiriusXM Radio while promoting the movie she went the extra mile and wore a plunging, glossy green dress. At one of the instances, she also wore a figure-hugging Dolce & Gabbana dresses with very little jewelry on her ears and still looked appealing.

She sent everyone jaw dropping when she wore the regal Atelier Versace gown and a dramatic up do hairstyle at one of the promotion events. She even donned the classic Mary Katrantzou for a simple and subtle appearance. The looks donned by Lupita while promoting Black Panther resembled the African fashion’s, from contemporary pants, skirts and dresses in Ankara prints to the dramatic Victorian meet African regal flare.
At the 90th Academy Awards, Lupita Nyong’o wore a mystery jeweler on her head which is still unknown to many. Her coif on the red carpet was inspired by images of Amasunzu hairstyles traditional to Rwandan culture. The gown carved and built into a beautiful series of crescents was once a sign of marriageability.
Lupita Nyong’o hairstyle at the red carpet of the Oscar’s was undeniably elegant. Her hair was a labyrinth one, braided into different sectors and areas yet it looked sweet. She is carrying the African fashion quite elegantly and beautifully.
