As we expand our reach in West Africa, we are seeking a qualified Sales Manager to help drive our revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience in the sales process, excel at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. We are looking for a quick learner with strong negotiating skills and a proven track record of success, who can inspire the same in others. This role requires a sharp-minded leader who can coach, advise, motivate, and, if necessary, replace sales representatives to create and maintain a high-performance sales force.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance.
  • Qualify and close leads.
  • Develop and maintain a structured sales process and product offering.
  • Follow up with leads, prepare and send out proposals.
  • Send out contracts, follow up, and ensure timely closure.
  • Encourage positive reviews and referrals from clients.
  • Build, train, and manage a high-performance sales team.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with clients.
  • Act as a strong advocate for the brand.

Success Metrics:

  • Deals in the pipeline.
  • Deals closed.
  • Revenue generated.
  • Sales team performance.

  • Retention and growth of repeat clients.

Qualifications:

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about contemporary Africa and African culture.
  • Articulate and values first impressions.
  • Experience building and managing sales teams.
  • Proficient in setting up and managing a CRM.
  • Skilled in creating eye-catching sales proposals and presentations.
  • Ambitious, natural leader who takes ownership and charge of situations.

Compensation:

This is a sales role. There will be a base plus commission
