  • Prepare Hazelnut Paste:
    Roast the hazelnuts until golden brown. While still hot, rub them to remove the skin.
    Place the roasted hazelnuts in a food processor and blend until smooth to form a hazelnut paste. Set aside.
  • Blend Ingredients:
    In a blender, combine the hazelnut paste, milk, sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and flour. Blend until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
  • Cook the Mixture:
    Pour the blended mixture into a large pan and cook over moderate heat. Stir continuously to prevent lumps and ensure even cooking.
    Continue stirring until the mixture thickens slightly, becoming creamy but less thick than custard.
  • Add Sugar & Boil:
    Once the mixture begins to thicken, add additional sugar to taste. Stir well and let the mixture gently boil for a few minutes, continuing to stir.
  • Pour & Serve:
    Remove from heat and while still hot, pour the mixture into small bowls or cups.
    Decorate with ground nuts for extra texture and flavor.
  • Enjoy:
    Serve warm or at room temperature and enjoy this delightful Tunisian dessert!

  • Make-Ahead Option: Hazelnut cream can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Gently reheat before serving.
