Lablabi(Tunisian Chickpeas Soup) By Treats Homemade


Lablabi is a popular Tunisian dish. It’s a chickpeas soup served as a breakfast street food during cold days. Originally, Lablabi is a “food of the poor” and became very popular in the late decades. Other than its nutritious value, it is a must eat in winter.
2 cups of Chickpeas, rinsed and soaked overnight
3 to 4 garlic cloves, peeled
½ lemon
2 minute-boiled egg for each serving
bread, torn into medium pieces(preferably 2 days old bread)
