Should African Governments regulate social media?
Social media platforms have helped Africans create jobs as Influencers and shed light on issues like #EndSARS in Nigeria. However some argue that it is negatively impacting African Youth. Should African Governments regulate social media?

April 5, 2022 at 12:08 pmAfrican governments can regulate social media when there is a threat to African culture. This regulation has to be relative because we are in a digital world. Most businesses are on social media. So Africa will be backward if they have to regulate.

April 5, 2022 at 1:04 pmWhat we need is a mindset shift and not throw back the responsibility of taming our attitudes to the government. Africans need to shape their minds to be able to our grow negative influences

April 5, 2022 at 1:09 pmAfrican Governments have already regulated social media and allowed more access to porn. When you search important and educative sites the government has blocked but try any porn site it will open without stress. African government has prioritised things that are not helpful to things that will educate Africa.
