In crisis situations, most of the time, the nationals of these countries affected by the crisis will be given preferential treatment. It’s just so happens and debating the fairness of this will lead to no where. Further more, racist and other things Perpetrated by a few soon get into the mix and that is what African who are studying/living in Ukraine have got to deal with.
The response from African leaders is to evacuate their citizens first then complain to be addressed, such inhumane treatments of their citizens base on their color or nationality or religious beliefs. But such treatments we have seen by Ukraine and Poland are indicators to show how humans perceive others.
