Peri-Peri Chicken by Delish

If you're a big Nando's fan, then we've got the perfect piri-piri chicken recipe for you. This oven-roasted chicken is insanely delicious - perfect for a feast for 4, an easy dinner for 6, or for two with some seriously good leftovers.

1 red onion, peeled and chopped into eighths
2 red peppers, core removed, cut into 3cm pieces
4 tbsp vegetable oil
4 garlic cloves, peeled
1 cayenne
Zest one lemon
Zest one orange
4 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp tabasco sauce
1 tsp dried oregano
150 ml olive oil
1 whole chicken, about 1.4-1.6kg
1 kg sweet potato, peeled and cubed into 2cm cubes
